Family Photography, My First Love.....

My first love of photography definitely began with family sessions.  My photography journey started by working for a local company that does portraits in daycares and preschools, so getting the kids to laugh and smile has became second nature to me.   

Capturing the authentic moments and joy of a family is the best part. Everyone looking at the camera with a perfect smile is great, but I love those in-between real captures because it shows your child's real personality of that moment in time.  
 
Looking back at photos of my kids and remembering those moments of my child doing a certain thing, or giving a certain face that they did during that time in their life is my favorite.  Even if it is my youngest giving the ultimate mean-mugging face, that will be a memory to look back at and cherish just because that's the real her.
